Uses of the chromatic circle

The chromatic circle, that circle with many colors that we do not understand its use. Well today I will explain how to use it and the most important thing in which you can use it.

I was also one of the people who thought that it was only used by designers and people who have to work in their work combining colors but while looking for videos of how to combine clothes so I learned to dress better I saw that it could be used to dress me and I loved the idea, so I will share some ways to use it so that they can learn and apply it in their day to day.

Although you do not believe the chromatic circle we can use it daily and how is that possible? so to combine the colors in the clothes or when we want to decorate our house, in short we can use it for everything that involves mixing colors and the best thing is that it is easy to use.

The combinations can be done in different ways and the ones I know are:

  • Opposites: the opposites are those that are on the other side of the circle making a line. For example, violet and yellow
  • Analogues: they are the neighboring colors like turquoise, blue and blue-violet.
  • Monochromatic: the same color but using the different shades of that color.
  • Triad: it is done by forming a triangle as I will show you in the following image, we can see that we can combine green with orange and violet.

And now I'll give you examples of each combination:

Opposites

They can be used both in clothes and decoration.

Analogs

In our house we can also use these combinations.

Monochromatic
The same color using its different tonalities.

Triad

The primary colors look beautiful together.

There are other ways to combine them and I will leave images for you to see.

We can also see these combinations in nature and they are really nice, just look at this:

I hope that these examples help you to better combine the colors and learn to use the chromatic circle because it helps us not to complicate ourselves so much by seeing which color goes better with another, we only use the chromatic circle and we will have those answers.

Byeeee :)
